Friendly and flexible hosts, gave helpful tips and provided free snorkel equipment, boogie boards, and beach towels. Comfortable bed, great shower, and kitchenette for cooking. Complimentary coffee pods and chocolates were greatly appreciated. Close walk to Oceanside park for sunsets.

entire experience staying there was very relaxing, i recommend this place. had comfortable bed, hypoallergenic pillows. there was a bathtub in the private bathroom.

This place was perfect for sightseeing, I absolutely loved it and found the amenities like a work desk, coffee/tea making equipment, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels to be really convenient.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. the bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud and the bathroom was well-equipped. the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. the hosts were super friendly and welcoming, giving us a sweet welcome. the TV had a wide variety of channels to choose from. One great advantage was that the apartment felt like a home away from home, giving us a cozy and comfortable feeling. the location was also perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist sights, providing a serene and peaceful environment. Plus, being close to a rocky coast allowed for a refreshing run in the beautiful bush.

The apartment had permanent shades made of corrugated iron, which made the inside quite dark and eliminated any outside view. Another downside was the noisy portable stove top in the kitchen, which was not ideal for cooking anything beyond soup.

I recently stayed at Hale "Hā Hā" on the east side of Big Island for my vacation. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, providing helpful tips and allowing us to park right in front of the spacious apartment. The location was perfect for those looking to escape the tourist crowds, with a beautiful rocky coast nearby for scenic runs. The unit itself was well-equipped, with a comfy bed, spacious bathroom, and a living room/kitchen area. The hosts were flexible and even provided free snorkel equipment and beach towels. I would return anytime!
